Dear Impacc-Friends,

In December, angels piled up in my office. Not made of gold. Not made of porcelain.

But made of something much more mundane: a balance sheet. ‘Statement of cash flow, operating activities, profit before tax…’ They are angels made of numbers: the financial figures of one of our start-ups.

Why? Because between ‘working capital’ and ‘depreciation’ lie the traces of your donations.

At Impacc, every donation becomes an investment. Every investment boosts a company that creates jobs. And at some point, a balance sheet comes back that shows: something really has happened.

This year, I am sending these folded angels to the people who support us.

It’s a small, slightly quirky “thank you”. But it tells the truth about our work better than any PowerPoint presentation: impact is not created by big words. Impact is created when people place their trust in us.

Christmas is a good time to simply say thank you. Thank you to everyone who has supported Impacc and our start-ups!
